Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 - skined and boned chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup champagne or dry white wine
- 1/2 cup sliced fresh mushrooms
- 1/2 cup whipping cream
How To Make champagne chicken

Step 1Combine flour, salt, and pepper in shallow dish. Dredge chicken in flour mixture.

Step 2Heat butter and oil in skillet; add chicken, and sauté 3 to 4 minutes on each side.

Step 3Add Champagne; cook over medium heat about 12 minutes or until chicken is done.

Step 4Remove chicken, and set aside. Add mushrooms to skillet, and sauté 1 to 2 minutes.

Step 5Add whipping cream to skillet; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, just until thickened. Add chicken, and cook until thoroughly heated.

Step 6Serve warm.
