This recipe was given to me by one of my bosses in the 90's. It sounds weird, but, oh does it taste terrific!!!!! TRY IT U'L LIKE IT!!!!!

Ingredients

  • 1 package chicken, legs and thighs
  • 1 package pork spare ribs
  • 1 jar sauerkraut, do not drain off liquid
  • 1 package brown sugar, firmly packed, cover the whole top of the kraut

How To Make cathy's double delite chix & ribs

  • Step 1
    put chicken on one side and ribs on other side in a slo-cooker/roaster, top w/kraut, (potatoes-carrots, if u wish), and pack the top of the kraut all over w/brown sugar well. bake til falls off the bone. it might take shorter time to cook. but, let cook slow for 4 hours, to be nice and juicy and tender. all up to your preference.
