Ingredients

  • FOR THE MUSTARD DIP
  • 2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon each yellow mustard and cream style horseradish
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • FOR THE CHICKEN
  • 4 boneless chicken thighs cut into strips
  • 2 cups cap'n crunch cereal
  • 1 cup cornflakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon each onion power, garlic powder, and salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • oil for deep frying

How To Make cap'n crunch chicken fingers w mustard dip

  • Step 1
    Mix the ingredients together for the mustard dip and place in fridge until ready to use it.
  • Step 2
    Place both cereals, the onion powder, garlic powder, salt and white pepper together in a food processor and process to a fine crumb. Place is a shallow dish
  • Step 3
    Mix the egg and milk together. Dip the chicken pieces in the milk mixture and then dredge in the crumb mixture.
  • Step 4
    Heat oil to 350 degrees and deep fry in batches until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with mustard dip
