canned chicken with wide noodles and alfredo sauce

My husband's recipe. If you like fettucinni you will love this recipe. When my husband said he was making this recipe using canned chicken I could not imagine what it would taste like. Wow was I surprised it was amazing. Especially combining all the ingredients and put over wide noodles.

Ingredients

  • 1 large canned chicken, drained
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 - bag of 12 oz. wide egg noodles
  • 1/2 large green pepper, diced
  • 1,15 ounce alfredo sauce in jar
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1 small peas, drained
  • 1 large tomato, diced thin
  • 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese (more for topping)
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • - parsley for topping

How To Make canned chicken with wide noodles and alfredo sauce

  • Step 1
    Cook noodles according to package directions; drain. Cover and keep warm.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile, in a large frying pan add oil, diced green pepper and onion and a can of chicken drained, cook until green pepper and onion is tender.
  • Step 3
    Add Alfredo Sauce and stir in peas. Add diced tomatoes and 4 tablespoons parmesan cheese and salt and pepper.
  • Step 4
    SERVE NOODLES ON PLATE AND TOP WITH YOUR CHICKEN AND ALFREDO SAUCE. ADD MORE PARMESAN CHEESE IF DESIRED. SPRINKLE WITH PARSLEY. ENJOY.....
