Here is a nice recipe using left over Turkey.another good one from an 1950 Indiana Church COOKBOOK......
This would be wonderful served over plain ole toasted bread.

  • 1/4 c
  • 1/2 c
  • 1-1/2 c
    chicken bouillon
  • 2 c
    cooked left over turkey... (or chicken)
  • 3/4 c
    peas and carrots...frozen or can (drained.)
  • 1 can(s)
    cut up mushrooms
  • ·
    salt & pepper to taste

How to Make CALICO CREAMED TURKEY from left over roast turkey


  1. In a saucepan stir flour into mayonnaise,
    gradually stir in bouillion.
  2. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly,
    5 minutes or until thickened.
  3. Stir in diced turkey (or chicken)
    peas and carrots, mushrooms and seasoning.
    Serve over toast or bisquits.

    NOTE: THanksgiving plastic canvas....
    Every year I decorate the refrigerator...
    with what I made years ago!!!!!!
