calico creamed turkey from left over roast turkey
Here is a nice recipe using left over Turkey.another good one from an 1950 Indiana Church COOKBOOK...... This would be wonderful served over plain ole toasted bread. I would love it over my recipe for "CATS HEAD BISQUITS!!. nancy...11/22/12

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1-1/2 cup chicken bouillon
- 2 cups cooked left over turkey... (or chicken)
- 3/4 cup peas and carrots...frozen or can (drained.)
- 1 can cut up mushrooms
- - salt & pepper to taste
How To Make calico creamed turkey from left over roast turkey

Step 1In a saucepan stir flour into mayonnaise, gradually stir in bouillion.

Step 2Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until thickened.

Step 3Stir in diced turkey (or chicken) peas and carrots, mushrooms and seasoning. Serve over toast or bisquits. NOTE: THanksgiving plastic canvas.... Every year I decorate the refrigerator... with what I made years ago!!!!!!
