Ingredients

  • 4 - chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 8 ounces linguine, cooked al dente
  • 4 teaspoons cajun seasoning of your choice
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 2 - green onions, thinly sliced
  • 2-4 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons sun-dried tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 cup mushrooms

How To Make cajun chicken linguine

  • Step 1
    Cut the chicken into thin strips and coat in a bowl with the Cajun seasoning.
  • Step 2
    In a large skillet over medium heat, saute chicken and mushrooms in the butter until the chicken is tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Reduce the heat and add green onions, heavy cream, tomatoes, basil, salt, garlic powder, black pepper and heat through.
  • Step 4
    Pour over hot linguine and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
