This is DELICIOUS! This recipe halves nicely. Now that all the kids are out of the house I can make as little as 1 large breast for my husband and I. So, feed 2 or feed a small army with is recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecans, crushed
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 - egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 8 - chicken breast halves, skinned
  • 1/4 cup pecans, coarsely chopped

How To Make buttermilk pecan chicken

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in a 13x9 pan. Set aside. Combine flour and next 5 ingredients. Mix egg and buttermilk together.
  • Step 2
    Dip chicken in egg and buttermilk mixture and dredge in flour mixture, coating well.
  • Step 3
    Place In baking dish turning once to coat with butter. Sprinkle with pecans.
  • Step 4
    Bake chicken at 350° for 30 minutes or until done.
