Ingredients
- 1 - chicken, broiler-fryer (3 pounds), cut-up
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/3 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
How To Make butter roast chicken

Step 1Place chicken in an ungreased 13x9x2 in baking pan. Combine remaining ingredients in a small saucepan, bring to a boil. Remove from the heat and pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 1-1/2 hours or until juices run clear, basting occasionally.
