Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 medium onion diced
- 6 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon each ground turmeric and kashmiri chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground fenugreek
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups chicken stock
- 8 ounces can tomato sauce
- 6 ounces can tomato paste
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- FOR THE MEATBALLS
- 1 1/2 pounds ground chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
How To Make butter chicken meatballs

Step 1Preheat oven 425 degrees. To make the meatballs. Mix all ingredients together and roll into golf ball size balls meatballs. Place on parchment lined baking sheet and place in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Step 2Meanwhile add the butter to a large skillet and let it melt. Add the onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until translucent about 5 minutes. Add the garam masala, turmeric, chili power, fenugreek and brown sugar. Cook 1 minute.

Step 3Add the chicken stock, tomato sauce and tomato paste. Bring to a simmer and simmer about 5 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream. Add the meatballs and cook for 5 more minutes

Step 4Serve over Basmati rice with a side on naan
