Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 boneless skinless chicken cut into small chunks
- 1 medium onion diced
- 1 tablespoon ginger grated
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes undrained
- 2 teaspoons garam masala
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 cup plain greek yogurt room temp
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- basmati rice and naan for serving
How To Make butter chicken

Step 1Add the oil to a large skillet. Add the chicken and brown for 3 minutes. Remove to a plate and set aside. Add the onion and cook until softened. Add the garlic and ginger and cook 1 minute.

Step 2Add the chili powder, and cinnamon. and cook 1 minute. Add the chicken back to the pan and add the tomatoes and tomato paste. Bring to a simmer and simmer until chicken is cooked. Reduce heat to low.

Step 3Stir in the Garam Masala, yogurt, and cream. Stir and cook until warmed through. Serve with Basmati rice and naan
