Another recipe from that facebook group...this one sounded very interesting! It was cooked in a Camp Chef 12 Deluxe "Yellowstone".?

Ingredients

  • - 1/2 lb bacon
  • - 3 lb venison or beef roast
  • - 3 lb chicken thighs
  • - 3 to 5 small red potatoes
  • - 2 medium onions
  • - 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • - bell pepper
  • - 1 to 2 cups of chopped carrots
  • - 12 oz corn
  • - 12 oz cut green beans
  • - 12 oz lima or pinto beans
  • - 14 oz diced tomatoes
  • - something sweet...see note before directions

How To Make burgoo michigan style!

  • Step 1
    Note: the something sweet... Something sweet (I like Cherries, Apples, Cranberries, or Current Jelly Spices to your taste (Tango Joe spices, Cajun spices, Cumin, white pepper, Sugar and Cinnamon, whatever.)
  • Step 2
    Use some Chicken Broth, beer, and water to keep the fluid level up. Boil it as long as you like. I like to cook it about 5 to 6 hours, so the meat is very tender, but I like the ingredients to stay more recognizable. That way each spoonful has different flavors, depending on what you get in that particular spoonful.
