OK, this one is safe for diabetics. I have made more changes to this to make it even safer. I's still just as good!! This recipe is very flavorful. You can use leg quarters if you like dark meat. Or split breasts if you prefer white meat. You can also use 24 wings and make a party snack out of it!

Ingredients For bunyan's diabetic savory baked chicken

  • 6
    chicken thighs
  • 3/8 tsp
    fresh cracked black pepper
  • 3/8 tsp
    celery seed
  • 3/8 tsp
    granulated garlic
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce, low sodium
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 2 Tbsp
    balsamic vinegar
  • 6 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin

How To Make bunyan's diabetic savory baked chicken

    Wash chicken under running water & pat dry
  • 2
    Drop the chicken in a large zip top plastic bag
  • 3
    Pour all ingredients except chicken into a blender and emulsify
  • 4
    Pour over the chicken.

    Squeeze as much air out of the bag as possible and seal it
  • 6
    Marinate for at least 2 hours, overnight is best
  • 7
    Bake in a pre heated 350 oven for 30 to 40 minutes, until chicken is thoroughly cooked. It should register 180 on a thermometer
