Buffalo Wings

Lori Daulton

I have looked around for a great recipe that was not over powering in any certain ingredient. I can say that I have put together a wonderful fried chicken on its own but if you add the sauce it's all the better. Especially for a Super Bowl occasion or get together. Hope you enjoy!

    chicken wings about 20
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp

  • 1 stick
  • 1 bottle
    franks hot sauce, 5 oz
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp

How to Make Buffalo Wings

  1. Using the first 6 ingredients listed put them in a large bowl and mix till all the wings are coated. Place wings in a Large Freezer bag or cover in the bowl and place in refrigerator for an hour.
  2. Pour oil in a pot or fryer, enough to make about an inch or a little more. Heat oil to 350. (Remember as you add the chicken the oil is going to rise so make sure you have a deep enough pot)
  3. Add chicken, about 4-5 pieces at a time. Fry for 10 mins. Chicken should be a nice brown color and crispy. Let drain on paper towels. Once all the chicken is done, place in a large bowl.
  4. Heat the ingredients for the sauce in a small pan. Just to boiling and then let cool slightly. Pour over chicken and mix.
