This is the first meal I cooked for my husband after we got married; the funny thing is before we 'tied the knot' he had warned me that he was a picky eater (we hadn't been out on many 'food dates' because his work moves him around a lot, we did the video chat thing most)then when I started cooking for him he hasn't been as picky as he thought he was, as it turns out he just doesn't like processed foods! ;)

1/3 c
1/3 c
chili sauce
1/2 tsp
red pepper (may reduce to 1/4 tsp)
1 tsp
cider vinegar
1/8 tsp
ground ginger
1/8 tsp
ground cumin
boneless, skinless chicken breasts; cut into strips

How to Make Buffalo Chicken


  • 1Mix all ingredients except chicken.
  • 2Add chicken and toss to coat well.
  • 3Cover and refrigerate about 30 minutes to marinate.
  • 4Heat 12" skillet over medium-high.
  • 5Add chicken to skillet; cook and stir 4 to 6 minutes.
  • 6Add remaining marinade; cook and stir 6 to 8 minutes.
  • 7I like to serve this with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Also on a day when I have the time I make dinner rolls too.
