buffalo chicken pasta
I made this mostly from left overs! But you can make it from scratch using this recipe as a guide line. It is easy, fast to make and tastes so darn good! You can make it according to directions, or tone it down or make it spicier according to your tastes. I used Saucy Mama, Jamaican Jerk Wing Sauce which is my favorite... but you can use any hot wing sauce you care for. This is a recipe worth trying. Play With Your Food! xo

Ingredients
- BUFFALO WING PASTA
- 12 large buffalo chicken nuggets (cooked, from deli)
- 6 cups penne pasta (left over, cooked)
- 1 pint grape tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon each: ground black pepper, garlic powder
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup saucy mama jamaican jerk wing sauce
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ADDITIONAL OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS
- 1 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- OPTIONAL TOPPINGS:
- 1/2 cup blue cheese dressing
- 4 sticks celery (cleaned and cut in 3 - 4 pieces)
How To Make buffalo chicken pasta

Step 1Cut or break apart the deli chicken into 3 or 4 pieces. Put in a large pan with 1 cup of water, the tomatoes, spices, and pasta. Bring to a boil.

Step 2Reduce heat, simmer for a couple of minutes.

Step 3Add your wing sauce to simmering mixture and gently stir together.

Step 4Taste the sauce. If you want to add more wing sauce or cayenne pepper.. do it now.

Step 5Taste sauce again. make any adjustments needed. Add the butter at this time and gently stir. (The butter adds so much creaminess and flavor).

Step 6Place into serving bowls.

Step 7Serve with or without garnishes.
