buffalo chicken pasta

I found this recipe on a Penne Pasta bag. I made it for dinner was it good! Next time I make it I will definately double the sauce recipe. The hot sauce does not make it hot, just gives it a great flavor.

Ingredients For buffalo chicken pasta

  • 28
    pieces frozen popcorn chicken bites
  • 8 oz
    penne rigate pasta
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    sliced celery
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 c
  • 1/2 c
    blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 c
    louisiana--style hot sauce

How To Make buffalo chicken pasta

    Prepare chicken bites and pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta.

    In a large skillet, melt butter over med-high heat. Add celery, onions, garlic and salt & pepper to taste. Saute' until celery is soft, (about 5-7 mins).

    Stir in half-n-half, blue cheese and hot sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 2-3 mins. Add pasta and chicken; toss to coat. Continue simmering until heated through and sauce has thickened.
