I found this recipe on a Penne Pasta bag. I made it for dinner tonight....wow was it good!
Next time I make it I will definately double the sauce recipe.
The hot sauce does not make it hot, just gives it a great flavor.

Ingredients

  • 28
    pieces frozen popcorn chicken bites
  • 8 oz
    penne rigate pasta
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 c
    sliced celery
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 c
    half-n-half
  • 1/2 c
    blue cheese crumbles
  • 1/4 c
    louisiana--style hot sauce

How to Make Buffalo Chicken Pasta

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare chicken bites and pasta according to package directions. Drain pasta.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over med-high heat. Add celery, onions, garlic and salt & pepper to taste. Saute' until celery is soft, (about 5-7 mins).
  3. Stir in half-n-half, blue cheese and hot sauce. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 2-3 mins. Add pasta and chicken; toss to coat. Continue simmering until heated through and sauce has thickened.
