When I first saw this recipe I was very doubtful it would be a winner. I made a few tweeks and this is the best slow cooker chicken! I have even tried it on pork and it turned out wonderful!

Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 6
    chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    sprite - soda pop
  • 2/3 c
    white, distilled vinegar
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 1 tsp
    black pepper
  • ·
    red pepper flakes - to your taste - optional

How to Make Brown Sugar Chicken & Rice

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix everything in the crockpot until blended and then place your chicken breasts in the sauce. Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours. Just before serving make some minute rice and serve the chicken on a bed of rice. Enjoy!
