Ingredients

  • 8 boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 teaspoons each salt, garlic powder & paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 plums pitted and diced
  • 1/2 cup grape juice
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • fresh parsley for garnish

How To Make broiled chicken thighs with fresh plum sauce

  • Step 1
    mix the salt, paprika, garlic powder and black pepper together. Sprinkle over both sides of the chicken
  • Step 2
    Place the chicken on a broiler pan and broil on high for about 15 minutes turning half way through.
  • Step 3
    To make the sauce combine the plums, grape juice, rosemary sprig, and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook mashing down the plums until they are real soft and mushy. Strain out the solids in a fine mesh strainer and discard. Mix cornstarch and water together. Bring the sauce to a boil and whisk in the cornstarch mixture until thickened.
  • Step 4
    Serve the sauce with the chicken and garnish with Parsley
