Ingredients

  • 1/2 pound chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • dash liquid smoke flavoring
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 cup onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup tomato, wedges
  • 1/4 cup liquid smoke flavoring

How To Make broiled chicken fajitas

  • Step 1
    In bowl, combine first 7 ingredients and 1 1/2 teaspoon oil.
  • Step 2
    Cover and refrigerate 2 to 8 hours.
  • Step 3
    Broil chicken until no longer pink in the center.
  • Step 4
    Meanwhile, in a large skillet, saute green peppers and onions in remaining oil until crisp-tender.
  • Step 5
    Add tomatoes and saute 1 minute.
  • Step 6
    Stir in picante sauce and heat through.
  • Step 7
    Cut chicken into thin strips and top with vegetables.
  • Step 8
    Serve with four hot corn tortillas.
