broccoli & chicken casserole

This is one of my family favorites they like it so much I usually have to double my recipie so I'll have enough I hardly ever have any leftovers

Ingredients

  • 2 10 oz packages frozen chopped broccoli
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken breasts
  • 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 - eggs slightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
  • 1 cup pepperidge farm herbed stuffing
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine

How To Make broccoli & chicken casserole

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  • Step 2
    Prepare frozen broccoli according to package directions until tender then chop into smaller pieces
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl combine chopped broccoli, chicken, cream of mushroom soup, mayonnaise, eggs, cheese, and onion flakes mix well
  • Step 4
    Pour into 9x13 inch casserole top with dry herbed stuffing
  • Step 5
    Top with pats of butter or margarine bake in oven for 30 to 45 minutes until lightly browned and slightly bubbly
  • Step 6
    Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving
  • Step 7
    Note: chicken can be omitted for a meatless broccoli casserole for a side dish
