Broccoli and Rice Casserole

Ingredients

16 ozof raw broccoli, or can use frozen

2 can(s)10.75 oz of cream of chicken soup

1 cwhite rice, cooked
-
1 jar(s)cheese whiz
-
1 smallcan of chopped mushrooms drained **optional**
-
2 cof diced chicken,ham or turkey **your choice**
How to Make Broccoli and Rice Casserole
- Pre-heat oven to *325
**IF USING FROZEN BROCCOLI, DO NOT COOK BEFORE ADDING TO CASSEROLE**
If using fresh broccoli, you must blanch it first...
1.Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

Fill a large bowl with water and ice.

Put the broccoli into the pot of boiling water and allow it to boil for three minutes.

Remove the broccoli from the pot and put it directly into the ice water, making sure the broccoli is covered with the water completely.
