I created this new chicken tenders recipe. It's inspired by Kinder's Bourbon Peach seasoning. It's great with a side of mashed potatoes or macaroni and cheese, lettuce-only salad, and dinner rolls.

Ingredients

  • 15 round buttery crackers
  • 8 tablespoons bourbon peach seasoning, divided
  • 2 cups cold buttermilk
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 3/4 cup creamy wing sauce
  • 3/4 cup honey Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 7 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into tenders
  • 2 cups Panko bread crumbs

How To Make bourbon peach chicken tenders

  • Step 1
Add round buttery crackers and 2 tablespoons of bourbon peach seasoning into a large food processor and pulse until fine. Set aside.
  • Step 2
In a large bowl, combine buttermilk, half and half, wing sauce, 3 tablespoons bourbon peach seasoning, honey Dijon mustard, and crushed red pepper flakes; whisk together for 30 seconds until blended.
  • Step 3
Season raw chicken tenders with the remaining bourbon peach seasoning; mix well until coated.
  • Step 4
Place seasoned chicken tenders into the buttermilk mixture in the bowl; mix well. Cover with plastic wrap. Marinate for 2 1/2 hours.
  • Step 5
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cover a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Coat with cooking spray.
  • Step 6
Take the chicken tenders out of the bowl of buttermilk mixture into a large Ziploc bag.
  • Step 7
Add cracker crumb mixture to the bag of chicken tenders. Seal and shake the bag to coat it thoroughly.
  • Step 8
Remove from the bag; place on prepared baking sheet.
  • Step 9
Bake in the preheated oven until no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear; about 20 minutes.
