Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3/4 teaspoon oregano, dried
- 3/4 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 4 - boneless skinless chicken breasts
How To Make blackened chicken

Step 1In small bowl, combine first 8 ingredients, set aside.

Step 2Place chicken breasts between sheets of plastic wrap (or in a large plastic food storage bag), and pound to even the thickness (about 1/2 inch or a little less).

Step 3Brush one side of chicken breasts with half of the melted butter and sprinkle with half the seasoning mixture. Repeat on other side of chicken breasts.

Step 4Heat a large skillet over med-high heat. Cook chicken about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
