1/2 tspsalt

1 tspground black pepper

2 tsponion powder

1 tspgarlic powder

3/4 tsporegano, dried

3/4 tspthyme, dried

1/2 tspcayenne pepper

2 Tbspbutter, melted

4boneless skinless chicken breasts
How to Make Blackened Chicken
- In small bowl, combine first 8 ingredients, set aside.
- Place chicken breasts between sheets of plastic wrap (or in a large plastic food storage bag), and pound to even the thickness (about 1/2 inch or a little less).
- Brush one side of chicken breasts with half of the melted butter and sprinkle with half the seasoning mixture. Repeat on other side of chicken breasts.
- Heat a large skillet over med-high heat. Cook chicken about 5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
