chicken breasts, halved, boneless and skinless
4 Tbsp
poultry seasoning
4 Tbsp
butter, melted
1/2 lb
linguine, uncooked
6 Tbsp
1/2 c
half and half
1 tsp
cayenne pepper
tomatoes, chopped
green onion, finely chopped

How to Make Blackened Chicken and Pasta


  • 1Cook linguini until al dente, drain and set aside.
  • 2Preheat iron frying pan on gas grill at high heat for 20 minutes.
  • 3Put poultry seasoning in shallow bowl.
  • 4Put melted butter in a second shallow bowl.
  • 5Dip chicken first in butter on both sides, then in poultry seasoning.
  • 6Place in preheated frying pan and cook 5-6 minutes on each side.
  • 7While chicken is cooking, melt remaining 6 tablespoons butter in a dutch oven.
  • 8Add half and half and cayenne pepper.
  • 9Heat over medium heat until mixture bubbles.
  • 10Add linguini.
  • 11Cover and reduce heat to low.
  • 12Remove chicken from frying pan and slice into thin strips.
  • 13Serve over hot linguini noodles and garnish with tomatoes and green onions.
