Another chick dinner using some different ingredients I wanted to try and the chicken was very tasty.

  • 2 tsp
    vegetable oil
  • 3 c
    sliced white or cremini mushrooms
  • 1 large
  • 1 can(s)
    19 ounce diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 c
    italian zesty dressing
  • 2 tsp
    tomato paste
  • 4 small
    skinless,boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 can(s)
    italiano shredded cheese or your choice of cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
    oscar mayer real bacon bits

How to Make Bistro Chicken


  1. Inlarge pan or wok heat oil on medium high add onions and mushrooms and saute for 10 minutes stirring occasionally, add tomatoes and the liquid, dressing and tomato paste. add chicken and cover, lower heat and simmer for 25 minutes covered. sprinkle with cheese and bacon bits uncovered for 5 minutes or cheese is melted.
  2. Cook rice and serve with chicken...and garlic bread goes great to mop up the sauce.
