best-ever chicken pot pie
This is a delicious recipe that I got from a friend years ago. Its my families all time favorite dinner. Cooking the chicken is included in the Prep time.

Ingredients
- 1 medium chicken
- 2 cans cream of potato soup (undiluted)
- 1 can mixed vegetables
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon thyme
- 1 package pillsbury rolled pie crust (2 per pkg)
How To Make best-ever chicken pot pie

Step 1Cook chicken on stove top, until done.

Step 2After chicken is removed from broth, cool and debone.

Step 3Mix all ingredients with deboned chicken.

Step 4Press pie crust into pie pan, add chicken mixture to crust and apply top crust and press edges, add a slit to middle of pie crust.

Step 5Place Pot Pie in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
