Ingredients
- 1 medium onion diced
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 can beer i used coors light
- 3 - chicken thighs
- - salt and pepper
- - favorite bbq sauce
How To Make beer can bbq chicken in instant pot

Step 1Place the butter in Instant Pot and select saute. Once the butter has melted add the onion and garlic. Saute until onions are translucent. Take the chicken thighs and add salt and pepper. Push the onions aside and add the chicken to the pot. Brown the chicken on both sides. Remove the chicken form the pot. Select cancel

Step 2Pour in the can of beer. Place the trivet in the pot letting it lean a bit to keep it upright. Place the chicken thighs on top of the trivet. Pour some BBQ sauce over the chicken.

Step 3Secure the lid. Select manual and add 15 minutes to the time. Once done. Quick release. Remove lid and serve
