I was sitting in my kitchen one day and decided to make up a recipe with what was on hand. It was a hit.

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef or turkey/chicken
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1 medium onion, chopped fine
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 1/2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup tomato soup
- 3/4 cup grated cheese
How To Make beef pie

Step 1Combine cooked meat, bread crumbs, onion, egg, milk and seasoning. Mix well.

Step 2Press into a 9 inch pie plate, building up the edge.

Step 3Combine rice, soup and 1/2 cup cheese. Turn into pie shell.

Step 4Bake at 375 for 25 minutes

Step 5Sprinkle remaining cheese and continue to bake another 5 minutes. Cut into wedges and serve.
