bbq chicken sauce
Last night I tried Pioneer Woman's BBQ sauce with chicken wings(she used chickie legs) and I give it a high 5! It made about 2 cups of sauce and I only used 1/2 of it as I was cooking for 2 and the balance went in the freezer for next time I get ready for some good ol southern shredded pork bbq sammies I have the sauce ready.. This is the picture of leftovers for tonights supper.

Ingredients
- - chicken thighs, legs etc you are going to bbq
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1/4 cup or more to your liking diced onions
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 cup catsup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tablespoon worshereshire sauce
- 1/3 cup molasses
- 4 tablespoons adobe chipole peppers in sauce
- dash salt
How To Make bbq chicken sauce

Step 1Pre heat oven to 425*

Step 2Place chicken on a rack in oven to roast for 20 minutes.

Step 3While chicken parts are roasting .. heat oil in a saucepan on medium low heat and then add onion and minced garlic.. cook 5 minutes then reduce heat to low and add remaining ingredients and simmer while chicken parts are roasting.

Step 4After 20 minutes check your chicken and then broil for 5 minutes.

Step 5Remove chicken and reduce oven heat to 350.

Step 6Dip chicken into the bbq sauce and return to oven for 5 minutes more. Then take out and brush with remaining sauce.
