bbq chicken pizza on whole wheat crust
BBQ Chicken Pizza is one of my son's favorites. Using whole wheat crust makes this one a little bit healthier and I find making my own crust is much better than store bought whole wheat crusts.

How To Make bbq chicken pizza on whole wheat crust
-
Step 1Put evoo in skillet and heat. Slice chicken into thin, bite-size pieces and sprinkle with McCormick's Montreal Chicken Seasoning. Slice onion in 1/2 lengthwise and slice into thin slices. Sautè chicken and onion in evoo until tender. Add BBQ sauce and 1/4 cup Barilla sauce and cook on low another 1 - 2 minutes. Prepare pizza crust on pizza pan. Put remaining Barilla on crust. You may not want to use all of the sauce, whatever you like. Sprinkle sauce with Italian seasoning. Top sauce with chicken mixture. Put bacon pieces on top of chicken mixture. Top with shredded Gouda and sprinkle more McCormick's on top, if desired. Bake in preheated 450° oven until bubbly and crust is browned to your liking, about 15 minutes.
