barbecued chicken on the stovetop
Been making this over and over, nice in the middle of the winter too!! Got the recipe from a friend and shared it many times. You will be amazed how it tastes, you would swear it came off the grill. Also great to make and take on a picnic ! Enjoy!

Ingredients
- 1-2 pound whole fryer chicken, cut up
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon salad oil
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/3 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup water
How To Make barbecued chicken on the stovetop

Step 1In large skillet (I use my cast iron pan) over medium heat, stir 1/4 cup water and all ingredients except chicken, until well combined.

Step 2Add chicken and cook 35 minutes turning occasionally until evenly browned and fork tender.
