Bangin' Buffalo Cheesy Roll Tide Roll

Diane Atherton

Get ready for game day with this easy crowd pleasing oozing with goodness roll!

Rotisserie chicken from Sam's or Walmart and a store bought pizza dough makes this recipe super quick and easy! Or cook your own chicken the way you like it and make a bread machine pizza dough.

This was inspired from my daughters wonderful "Buffalo Hot Wings Dip". Rolling her dip up in pizza dough took it over the top!

Hope you enjoy as you watch your favorite teams play!

How to Make Bangin' Buffalo Cheesy Roll Tide Roll

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Place chicken in a bowl; season with salt and pepper and add 1/4 cup of wing sauce; stir to coat chicken.
  3. Follow directions package of dough for thawing. On a well-floured surface, spread pizza dough into a long rectangle shape (15 X 12). Spread softened cream cheese onto pizza dough. Don't spread all the way to edge, leave about 1 inch all the way around the edge.

NOTE: I've include a bread machine pizza dough below that I really like. If you have a bread machine, this takes very little effort on your part.
  4. Combine the remaining 1/4 cup of wing sauce with ranch dressing; spread evenly over cream cheese.
  5. Place chicken pieces evenly over top and then sprinkle with cheese.
  6. Carefully roll dough, jellyroll fashion starting at the long end. Pinch and tuck the ends to prevent oozing while baking. NOTE: Sprinkle with a little coarse sea salt if desired.
  7. Spray baking sheet with light coat of non-stick cooking spray or use parchment. Transfer calzone to pan (seam side down) and place on middle rack; bake 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven and allow five minutes for cooling before slicing.
    For a 1 1/2 lb loaf.

Add all ingredients to brand pan in the order given.

Set on "Dough Only" feature. Start machine.

When dough cycle is complete, remove dough to a floured board (if using immediently) and roll out into desired shape. Or, place in a bowl greased with olive oil, turn dough to coat and cover with plastic and refrigerate until ready to use.
