We had this for dinner tonight and it is very tasty, My granddaughter spent the night with us and she loved it. It's so easy to make. Just put it all except the angel hair pasta, in the crockpot for four hours and woooolaaa. It's done.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon each of oregano and basil
  • 2 cans regular size petite cut tomatoes
  • 1/2 box angel hair pasta
  • - salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

How To Make balsamic chicken

  • Step 1
    In a round regular size crock pot, add olive oil to the bottom. Layer the chicken breast. They need not be cut into pieces. On top of the chicken breast, layer with a small onion, thinly sliced and the 4 cloves of garlic (whole). Pour the 1/2 cup of balsamic vinegar over the chicken and herbs, and the dump in the two cans of tomatoes. Salt and pepper to taste. Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 4 to 6 hours. Just before serving time, cook pasta until done. Drain and serve with the chicken mixture.
