Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegatable oil or olive oil
  • 4 - chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless - cut into strips
  • 1 medium onion sliced thin
  • - salt and black peper to taste
  • 2 - ripe bartlett pears, cored and sliced
  • 1 pound asparagus, fresh - trimmed
  • SAUCE
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons apple juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons dark brown sugar

How To Make balsalmic pear aspargus chicken - slow cooker

  • Step 1
    Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken in the hot oil until completely browned, 3 to 5 minutes; transfer to a slow cooker.
  • Step 2
    Add the onion to the chicken; season with salt and pepper. Place the pears and asparagus atop the chicken mixture
  • Step 3
    Mix the Sauce (garlic, balsamic vinegar, apple juice, rosemary, ginger, and Brown sugar) in a bowl; pour over the asparagus.
  • Step 4
    Season again with salt and pepper.
  • Step 5
    Cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours
