Delicious chicken with a touch of Asian. Cranking up the heat the last 5 - 10 minutes gives it a darker color and stickiness. We love it! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 3 - 4 pounds boneless skinless chicken pieces. i use all thighs - excess fat removed
  • 1 cup sweet baby rays barbecue sauce - or your favorite
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger paste or fresh grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey

How To Make ~ baked - honey ginger barbecue chicken ~ so tasty

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a medium bowl, mix sauce ingredients together.
  • Step 2
Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish and place chicken evenly in the dish. Brush each piece with sauce and bake for 1 hour, basing often with sauce. ( About every 15 minutes ) Depending how big your chicken pieces are, it may take longer. Just cook until juices run clear. The last 10 minutes I baste one last time and turn up the heat to 400. Bake an additional 5 - 10 minutes longer. Note: I also drained the juices a couple times, just to keep it from interfering with the sauce on the top of chicken. I'm sure you with white meat you wouldn't have as much.
  • Step 3
My family loves this chicken. Goes great with corn on the cob. I'm sure this sauce would be great on grilled chicken as well.
