~ Baked - Honey Ginger Barbecue Chicken ~ So Tasty
- 3 - 4 lb
- boneless skinless chicken pieces. i use all thighs - excess fat removed
- 1 c
- sweet baby rays barbecue sauce - or your favorite
- 2 Tbsp
- soy sauce
- 2 tsp
- fresh ginger paste or fresh grated
- 1/2 tsp
- garlic powder
- 3/4 tsp
- dry mustard
- 1/4 c
Brush each piece with sauce and bake for 1 hour, basing often with sauce. ( About every 15 minutes ) Depending how big your chicken pieces are, it may take longer. Just cook until juices run clear. The last 10 minutes I baste one last time and turn up the heat to 400. Bake an additional 5 - 10 minutes longer.
Note: I also drained the juices a couple times, just to keep it from interfering with the sauce on the top of chicken. I'm sure you with white meat you wouldn't have as much.
