~ Baked - Honey Ginger Barbecue Chicken ~ So Tasty

Cassie *

Delicious chicken with a touch of Asian. Cranking up the heat the last 5 - 10 minutes gives it a darker color and stickiness. We love it!

3 - 4 lb
boneless skinless chicken pieces. i use all thighs - excess fat removed
1 c
sweet baby rays barbecue sauce - or your favorite
2 Tbsp
soy sauce
2 tsp
fresh ginger paste or fresh grated
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
3/4 tsp
dry mustard
1/4 c

1Preheat oven to 350 degree F.

In a medium bowl, mix sauce ingredients together.
2Grease a 9 x 13 baking dish and place chicken evenly in the dish.

Brush each piece with sauce and bake for 1 hour, basing often with sauce. ( About every 15 minutes ) Depending how big your chicken pieces are, it may take longer. Just cook until juices run clear. The last 10 minutes I baste one last time and turn up the heat to 400. Bake an additional 5 - 10 minutes longer.

Note: I also drained the juices a couple times, just to keep it from interfering with the sauce on the top of chicken. I'm sure you with white meat you wouldn't have as much.
3My family loves this chicken. Goes great with corn on the cob. I'm sure this sauce would be great on grilled chicken as well.
