Ingredients
- 4 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated parmesan
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- - salt and pepper
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 24 ounces jar marinara sauce
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1/4 cup minced fresh basil
How To Make baked chicken parmesan

Step 1Sprinkle chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Whisk the eggs together and place in shallow dish. Mix the Panko, and oregano with the parmesan cheese and place in a second shallow dish.

Step 2Spray a foil lined baking sheet with cooking spray. Dredge the chicken breasts in egg then roll in panko mixture. Transfer to baking sheet and place in refrigerator 30 minutes.

Step 3Preheat oven 450 degrees. Bake the chicken breast about 20 minutes. Top with mozzarella cheese and continue to bake until internal temp is 160 degrees.

Step 4Meanwhile mix the marinara in a saucepan with the garlic, and half the basil. Set aside and keep warm. Serve the marinara over the chicken top with remaining basil
