baked chicken german style
Just adopted this recipe. Haven't tried it yet, but thought it sounded good. If anyone tries it, please let me know if you like it or not.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1.5 cups milk
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked and drained
- 3 cups chicken, cooked and chopped
- 2/3 cup parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 teaspoons paprika
How To Make baked chicken german style

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Melt butter in large saucepan over medium low heat.

Step 3Whisk in flour and stir 3 minutes.

Step 4Gradually whisk in broth and milk.

Step 5Reduce heat, simmering until thick, about 10 minutes.

Step 6Blend in lemon juice and seasonings.

Step 7Combine cooked noodles and half the sauce, tossing gently to blend.

Step 8Place in the bottom of a buttered 2-quart casserole.

Step 9Top with chicken and remaining sauce.

Step 10Combine parmesan cheese and paprika, sprinkle over casserole.

Step 11Bake until bubbling and golden brown, about 30 minutes.

Step 12Serve hot.
