Ingredients
- 2 1/2 pounds chicken
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup butter
- 7 ounces pitted black olives
- 1 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12/ teaspoons thyme
- 1 - onion, sliced into rings
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- - cooked rice
How To Make baked chicken and olives, mom's

Step 1Combine flour, salt, paprika and pepper in a bag. Cut up chicken and coat with mixture. Brown in 1/2 c butter. Place in large flat casserole. In saucepan combine a second 1/2 c butter and all but paprika. Simmer 4 min, pour over chicken. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 1 1/2-1 3/4 hours at 375 degrees or until fork tender. Add more orange juice if too dry, baste 4-5 times during baking. Serve with rice.
