I use a large pack of chicken thighs, like the family pack. I cook it like the recipe but use some for dinner and some to make Chicken Parmesan for the next night. I use a can of Hunts Tomato sauce add a small can of mushrooms and let it cook for a bit. Then put some sauce on the bottom of a baking pan, ( I use a glass bread pan) put in the chicken until they cover the bottom of the pan, spoon on a little sauce and add mozzarella cheese slices over the chicken, then add another layer of chicken, sauce, mozzarella and bake for around 15 minute on 350 degrees. And there is tomorrows dinner too.

Ingredients

  • 1 package boneless chicken breast or thighs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1-2 tablespoon horseradish
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon parsley
  • 1 tablespoon onion flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper

How To Make baked chicken

  • Step 1
Preheat the oven to 359 degrees. You will need 2 bowls, I use soup bowls because the sides are high. You will also need a baking sheet. Spray the pan with non-stick spray, like Pam or line the pan with parchment paper..
  • Step 2
In one bowl put in the Italian bread crumbs and all the spices (garlic powder, onion flakes, parsley, salt and pepper). Mix it together well.
  • Step 3
In the other bowl put the eggs, heavy cream and horseradish. Wisk it really good.
  • Step 4
First dip one piece of chicken in the egg mixture. Then roll it around in the Italian bread crumb mixture.
  • Step 5
Place the chicken on the baking pan. Repeat step 4 until all the chicken is coated and on the pan.
  • Step 6
Put the chicken in the oven for 45 minutes. After about 20 minutes turn the chicken over and allow to cook for the rest of the time.
  • Step 7
Remove the cooked chicken and serve.
