awesome chicken pot pie

This secret recipe was provided to me by a friend who was the chef in a very popular restaurant. Enjoy. Some pot pie variations have no bottom crust and are more similar to a baked casserole.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups bisquick
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 cans cream of celery soup
  • 15 ounces small peas
  • 15 ounces carrots, sliced
  • 15 ounces green beans
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 - cooked chicken breast or cut up cooked chicken
  • 1 stick butter

How To Make awesome chicken pot pie

  • Step 1
    Place cooked chicken in the bottom of a greased 10 x 15 x 2-inch baking dish. In a large bowl, combine soup, broth, mix well, then add vegetables. Pour over chicken. In a medium bowl, combine Bisquick and milk. mix well. Pour over chicken mixture.
  • Step 2
    Melt butter in microwave-safe dish and drizzle over top. Bake at 350 degrees (uncovered) for 1 hour or until Bisquick rises and browns.
