Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 pounds chicken, broiler-fryer - cut up in pieces
  • 2 medium onions, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons sweet hungarian paprika
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth, low-fat
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • - salt and pepper
  • - cooked noodles or rice

How To Make aunt betty's chicken paprikash

  • Step 1
    Brown chicken, onions, and paprika in butter.
  • Step 2
    Add chicken broth and simmer, covered, over low heat 30 minutes or until chicken is tender.
  • Step 3
    Stir in sour cream and serve over hot cooked noodles or rice.
