This a unique sauce very vinegary and sweet I love it.

Ingredients

chicken wings separated at joint
1 c
milk
salt and pepper
1 c
cornstarch

SAUCE

1/2 c
each sugar and rice vinegar
1/3 c
each water and honey
1/4 c
sweet soy sauce
1 Tbsp
sesame oil
2 Tbsp
garlic chili sauce
4 clove
garlic minced
2 Tbsp
white sesame seeds and cilantro (optional)

How to Make Asian Style Chicken WIngs

Step-by-Step

  • 1Salt and pepper chicken wings then soak them in milk. Dredge them in cornstarch and deep fry for 5 minutes.
  • 2Place all the ingredients for sauce except sesame seeds and cilantro together in sauce pan. Bring to a boil reduce to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes. Take a little cornstarch mixed with water to make slurry and add to sauce ingredients to thicken to desired consistency. Pour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro
  • 3I didn't deep fry my chicken wings I just baked them and then served the sauce over them.
