This a unique sauce very vinegary and sweet I love it.

Ingredients

12
chicken wings separated at joint
1 c
milk
salt and pepper
1 c
cornstarch

SAUCE

1/2 c
each sugar and rice vinegar
1/3 c
each water and honey
1/4 c
sweet soy sauce
1 Tbsp
sesame oil
2 Tbsp
garlic chili sauce
4 clove
garlic minced
2 Tbsp
white sesame seeds and cilantro (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Salt and pepper chicken wings then soak them in milk. Dredge them in cornstarch and deep fry for 5 minutes.
2Place all the ingredients for sauce except sesame seeds and cilantro together in sauce pan. Bring to a boil reduce to a simmer and simmer 10 minutes. Take a little cornstarch mixed with water to make slurry and add to sauce ingredients to thicken to desired consistency. Pour sauce over chicken and sprinkle with sesame seeds and cilantro
3I didn't deep fry my chicken wings I just baked them and then served the sauce over them.
