Ingredients

  • 3 pounds chicken breasts, cut into large pieces
  • 1 - lime
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 can black olives
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green pepper, sliced (or cut into strips)
  • 1 medium red pepper, sliced (or cut into strips)
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice

How To Make argentine chicken

  • Step 1
    Assemble all ingredients.
  • Step 2
    Chop onion, slice peppers. Squeeze fresh lime juice (approx. 1/3 cup).
  • Step 3
    Marinate chicken pieces in juice from the lime for at least 30 minutes. Combine salt, pepper and paprika; sprinkle over chicken.
  • Step 4
    Brown chicken on all sides in oil.
  • Step 5
    Place chicken in casserole or baking pan, add olives, onion, green and red pepper, and orange juice. Cover, bake at 350 for 45 minutes, or until chicken is tender.
  • Step 6
    Serve with rice.
