Living on a farm - some days you don't have time to throw together a meal. I usually do crock pot meals during "farming season" and this is a go to meal for us. It's "heavenly" hence the name :)

Ingredients

  • 6
    boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • 4 oz
    chive & onion cream cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can(s)
    mushrooms, drained
  • 1 pkg
    italian seasoning mix (dry)
  • 1/2 c
    white whine

How to Make Angel Chicken (crock pot)

Step-by-Step

  1. Place frozen chicken breasts in crock pot. In a saucepan melt butter. Once melted, add in rest of ingredients. Pour over chicken. Cook on high 5-6 hrs or low 7-8 hrs. Serve over angel hair pasta.
  2. *you can add milk in place of the wine but the best flavor is using the cooking wine. This is a family favorite!
