Ingredients
- 1/2 cup almonds, slivered
- 2.5 cups cooked chicken
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup white raisins
- 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup sherry
- pinch salt
- pinch pepper
How To Make almond chicken

Step 1Melt half the butter in a large skillet.

Step 2Saute mushrooms about 2 minutes.

Step 3Add rest of butter, flour, salt and pepper to taste.

Step 4Add raisins and sherry.

Step 5Cook until sherry has been absorbed.

Step 6Add milk and simmer 10 minutes.

Step 7Serve topped with almonds over rice or toast.
