  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed or minced
  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • - sliced white potatoes
  • - cooked white rice

How To Make adobo shared with me from m.ocampo

  • Step 1
Lightly brown garlic and onion until transparent. Add pork and cook until partially done. Add chicken and brown for a few minutes. Salt and pepper to taste (but be careful with salt as soy has quite a bit of sodium in it). Add paprika and bay leaf. Pour soy sauce, vinegar and water into mixture. Stir. Slow cook for 3 hours or more to make a hearty stew. 30-45 minutes before serving add sliced potatoes. The potatoes will turn brown, absorbing the juice. I like to thicken using a flour and water paste so it is a thick stew. Serve over white rice. Yum!!! You will make this again and again. Worth the divorce!
