I grew to love my in laws stuffed cabbage but this is lots of flavor for high rewards- minimal time and hands off cooking. Even great days later. Serve over hot rice.

Ingredients For unstuffed cabbage casserole in instant pot

  • 1/2 link
    polish kielbasa, diced
  • 1 lb
    ground meat
  • 1
    onion, diced
  • 4 Tbsp
    raisins
  • 1 c
    sauerkraut
  • 1/2 head
    cabbage, sliced thin
  • 1 can
    beef broth
  • 3 clove
    garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp
    hot paprika
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1/2 c
    ketchup

How To Make unstuffed cabbage casserole in instant pot

    Brown meats, onions, and garlic. Add everything else to Instant Pot except cabbage and ketchup. Stir it up, then place cabbage and top, then add ketchup. DO NOT STIR.

    Cook at high pressure for 10 minutes. Natural release till pin drops and you can open the lid. Serve over hot rice. A nice topping is sour cream.

    You can vary amounts of any of this to your liking. Very easy flexible recipe. Also can cook on stove top.
