Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 16 ounces black beans
  • 1 1/4 ounces ortega chili seasoning mix
  • 16 ounces salsa
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 8 ounces elbow macaroni, penne pasta or pasta shells, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar (i used more)

How To Make turkey chili macaroni

  • Step 1
    heat oil in large skillet over med heat until hot. Add turkey and onion. Cook and stir in seasoning mix. Add beans, salsa, macaroni, water and salt; stir well. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 15 min, stirring halfway through cooking to prevent sticking. Mix in cheese. Cook and stir until cheese is melted.
