tequila lime macaroni and cheese
I love creating baked mac and cheese recipes. This one is based on Kinder's Tequila Lime seasoning. It's great with a side of soft tacos or burritos.

Ingredients
- 8 ounces Gouda cheese, cut into 1/2 cubes
- 8 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2 cubes
- 2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
- 6 tablespoons tequila lime seasoning, divided
- 16 ounces dry elbow macaroni
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
How To Make tequila lime macaroni and cheese

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Step 2Coat a 9x13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray. Add cubed Gouda and sharp cheddar cheese, 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, and 2 tablespoons tequila lime seasoning; mix well with a fork.

Step 3Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Add lime juice and 2 tablespoons tequila lime seasoning; toss it well until combined.

Step 4Melt margarine in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add flour and black pepper; whisk for about 30 seconds.

Step 5Slowly whisk in heavy cream, evaporated milk, and 1 tablespoon tequila lime seasoning for another 30 seconds more until combined.

Step 6Mix in cream cheese, shredded Mexican cheese blend, and remaining tequila lime seasoning together until melted and creamy.

Step 7Add cooked macaroni; stir well. Cover and let it simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 8Remove from heat. Pour over a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with the remaining shredded Parmesan cheese.
