I created a new casserole recipe. It's inspired by Kinders' Sweet Heat seasoning. It will be on steak, it's filled with ziti pasta, black forest ham, and jalapeno slices on the bottom.

How To Make sweet heat steak casserole

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Step 2
Coat a 13- x 9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Add black forest ham strips, cubed American cheese, jalapeno slices, and 2 Tbsp sweet heat seasonings; mix well.
  • Step 3
Cook ziti pasta according to package directions; drain. Transfer into a large bowl, season with 2 tablespoons sweet heat and 1 tablespoon steak seasoning.
  • Step 4
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add steak bites in a single layer and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is achieved.
  • Step 5
Add sliced red bell pepper, chopped jalapeno peppers, chopped Vidalia onion, 2 tablespoons sweet heat seasoning, dark brown sugar, and remaining steak seasoning; stir well for 3 minutes until combined.
  • Step 6
Melt Irish butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Combine heavy cream, steak sauce, half and half, jalapeno liquids, Dijon mustard, cream cheese, and remaining sweet heat seasoning; stir well. Let it simmer for 5 minutes or until thickened.
  • Step 7
Add cooked ziti pasta and cubed steak mixture; mix well for 3 minutes until well combined. Remove from heat.
  • Step 8
Spoon into a prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle with Mexican cheese blend.
  • Step 9
Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Cool completely for 13 minutes before serving.
